Did you know that Swarovski has two colors that change depending on the lighting they receive? We have created animated images that perfectly reflect these unique color-changing crystals. Cantaloupe has a soft green color under fluorescent and natural light but changes to a beautiful peach color under incandescent lighting. Under fluorescent light and sunlight, alexandrite appears light blue and changes to a beautiful violet color with incandescent light.

That is so good to know! Could have easily thought I’d lost my mind when the color kept shifting. Now I know it’s the bead! Would probably be a good idea to keep both colors in mind when adding other complimentary beads, so the jewelry looks good in both kinds of light.

I just fell over when I saw this. This is the best ‘gadget’ for beaders! What a great ‘must have’ for any inventory

I love these colors already but wish they’d come out with more! I’d love a yellow to pink one and some shade of brown.

What a neat trick! I love the alexandrite color – both shades are perfect for birthstones!
