I made a necklace to wear with my little black dress…graduated dangles of crystals, pearls, and faceted glass beads. The first person I met that night complimented me on my “bling!!”

  • 2 Debbie // Sep 27, 2011 at 7:49 am

I made a flat spiral bracelet with black ab czech glass, and black ab Swarovski bicones accented with silver lined seed beads and a big silver toned flower toggle clasp. Got loads of compliments on the bling and a few custom orders too.

I always feel glam in dangly earings. Something about the movement makes me very aware of myself and makes me feel especially girly.

I always feel glam in a chunky long necklace!

  • 5 Kasey // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:23 am

I love my gigantic rings! A ring is the last thing I put on before I leave the house. Picking the right one for the outfit I’m wearing is the most fun!

  • 6 Odin Oxthorn // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:23 am

I just made a beautiful three strand necklace made out of peach colored pearls, and swarovski sliders. The first two strands cling tight like a choker, but the third strand falls a little lower with a De Art Swarovski pendant in Crystal Silver Shade. I made adorable earrings to match and I love it! I’m wearing it to a friend’s wedding to match a brown velvet dress.

My wedding band and my #1 mom pendant. It will always be these two no matter how fine a piece of jewelry I may own otherwise.

  • 8 Peggy // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:25 am

A large resin rock necklace with stick pearls. Funky, chunky and flirty!

  • 9 Susan Christiano // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:29 am

I have a pair of diamond runway hoops that my ex-husband gave me that always make me feel spectacular when i wear them!

  • 10 Ashley J. T. // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:37 am

Of course my wedding band is my most precious piece of jewelry. Second from that is a frog necklace my husband bought for me. Lately, it’s one of the only pieces that I wear that I havent made.
As far as handmade jewelry goes, my husband got into making jewelry with me for a few weeks, and he made me a few pairs of earrings. My favorite pair are some dangley earrings with an orange glass top bead, and six orange and clear swarovski rhondelle beads. They are my favorite mainly because he made them especially for me, and because they make me feel very girly.
Thank you Artbeads for wanting to find out about your customers!! :)

I made myself a bracelet with 6mm matte cracked agate round beads. I spaced them with an AB finished 1mm clear round, 4mm pale blue Swarovski square and another 1mm clear round in the middle. On either side of middle I did a 1mm with a 2mm square 1mm round. I then used 2mm two tone silver Swarovski bicones as spacers and a sterling silver toggle clasp.

  • 12 Taja // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:40 am

Something simple but has a sparkle to it. Oh Swarovski how you have won my heart!

  • 13 marlene // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:49 am

I have a pair of carved Ivory rose earrings(purchased pre ban) that were given to me by my mother. They make me feel elegant, classy and I think of my mother when I wear them.

  • 14 Angela LeBlanc // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:53 am

I wear an opal ring with 2 small diamonds on each side, tiny but makes a statement.

  • 15 Shairyl // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:56 am

Aside from my wedding ring,my favorite piece of jewelry is a Swarovski Crystal bracelet with my daughters name in silver letters.

  • 16 Sue Wuest // Sep 27, 2011 at 9:57 am

The piece of jewelry that makes me feel special is a ‘sister friend’ bracelet that I made. I’ve had some annoying health challanges this past year and the women in my life have been so strong and supportive. Sisters, Aunts, Friends, Cousins, and more. I wanted to thank my sisterhood so I made them linked bead bracelets. Each with a variety of different beads that sparkle and shine in their unique way, like the woman who wears it. They are different but the same, like my girls. I finally made one for myself and wearing it makes me feel like I’m wrapped in the special love ftom my ‘sister-friends’. And it goes with anything I wear. I’ve just made another version as a rosary for a friend who is ill herself.

  • 17 dolores fernandez // Sep 27, 2011 at 10:04 am

My labradorite kumihimo necklace always steals the show! Large AAA labradorite onion briolettes spiral around smaller labradorite rondelles. Over 500 carats of flashy chatoyant stones.

  • 18 Tammy Roush // Sep 27, 2011 at 10:10 am

I am never without my cats eye, pink heart charm that I wear on a sterling silver chain. It has a pink ribbon charm that lays over the heart. My mother-in-law was heading into surgery for breast cancer and my sister-in-law gave it to me. I have worn it since and I never take it off. Thankfully, she has won her fight over breast cancer, fighting every step of the way with a very positive attitude. It serves as a reminder to me to always be positive, no matter what the situation. :)

I’m a football fan so the piece that makes me feel special is a Saints Necklace that I made. I sell them on my website. Come game day when I put it on, I automatically feel like a stand-out Who Dat fan. Geaux Saints!

  • 20 CathyH // Sep 27, 2011 at 10:14 am

My favorite is a simple leather cord choker with a stunning pearl, hand made bead or charm.

  • 21 Michelle Kobel // Sep 27, 2011 at 10:16 am

My queen of all bling jewelry that I own is one that I made. It was my first piece to make and I made the matching earrings and bracelet. I get tons of compliments for it, friends and strangers. It is a peyote stitch with various shades of dark to silvery purple triangle seed beads knot necklace. It is embellished with glass pearls, glass beads of various, shapes, different shapes of swarvoski crystals and bicones to provide the eye catching bling. I get TONS of compliments when I wear my necklace/bracelet and earring set when I go out on the town. When I get asked where I bought the set, I tell them proudly that I made it myself. I get even more astonishing looks and compliments and that makes me feel more glamourous than anything!

  • 22 Gayla Weber // Sep 27, 2011 at 10:19 am

These are all such awesome comments!! But give me the SPARKLE!!! The only thing that beats a Swarovski crystal is an honest-to-goodness real diamond, and then sometimes even not (quality has to be exceptional). Swarovski shimmers and shines no matter what. Bet you can guess what I’ll buy with my gift card!!!! :) :) :)

  • 23 Lynn Popkowski // Sep 27, 2011 at 10:31 am

I made a pair of of 3-tier Crystal AB diagonal earrings that I love, and wear as my “go-to glamour” earrings.

  • 24 Dianna // Sep 27, 2011 at 10:54 am

Glamourous? A gorgeous pink pearl necklace, bracelet and earring set when I want to be elegant. When it’s just to add some punch I have a hot pink cocktail ring that makes me smile and gets loads of complements!

  • 25 Rachel // Sep 27, 2011 at 11:01 am

Everytime I make a new necklace I wear it for a test drive. I feel special in all my creations.

  • 26 Patricia // Sep 27, 2011 at 11:45 am

Don’t really have a blingy, gorgeous piece of jewelry that I wear often, but I know I feel naked without my sweet engagement and wedding rings and my silver 3-ring band on my thumb.

  • 27 Michele Smith // Sep 27, 2011 at 11:45 am

I made my own lampwork bead as a pendant, it has crystals and my other beads as dangles. It’s on a sterling silver chain.

  • 28 JUDY CORTEZ // Sep 27, 2011 at 1:03 pm

I feel like a Princess when I put on my gorgeous engagement ring from my now husband. It is 14 karat gold, has a breathtaking heartshaped diamond in the center, and the band is in the shape of an infinity sign with diamond bagets. Whew! I’m out of breath just thinking about it!

  • 29 Diane Ballum // Sep 27, 2011 at 1:55 pm

I made myself a very long lariett out of Clear AB, and Black AB Swarovski Crystals, (4mm, 6mm, 8mm & 10mm). I also made a matching bracelet and earrings. The lariett is long enough to be worn wrapped 3 times for a short look, or once for a very long swingy look. It has so much sparkle to it, I always feel like the bell of the ball, when I wear it!

  • 30 Laura Miller // Sep 27, 2011 at 2:09 pm

My go-to piece of jewellery is the chainmaille necklace I made for myself using 6mm Czech glass druk beads (garnet, no longer available) from The single white ring I was using as a placeholder has since been replaced by the 8mm Swarovski heart (siam) that was in process of being shipped from to complete the piece.
A blurried image (because I could not hold the camera still while taking the photo) is on facebook:

I love how a necklace I created for my daughter’s wedding makes me feel. I used lavendar crystal pearls, olivine crystal bicones, amethyst crystal bicones, and gold filled topaz seed beads. I made a bracelet, earrings, and a ring to match.

  • 34 Alicia // Sep 27, 2011 at 5:54 pm

A Romanov chainmaille bracelet I made a couple of month back – when I put it on I am a princess :)

  • 35 Heather // Sep 28, 2011 at 6:08 am

When I’m going out with my husband – it’s one of the crystal pieces I’ve made (usually a bracelet that’s been made using my favorite colors: mauves and purples).
If I need to dress up something for work – it’s one of my many brooches. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten to the point yet where I’m making my own pins yet, but I”m working on it!

My boyfriend got me a beautiful diamond pendant necklace for our 1 yr anniversary last year. It is very simple and elegant and can spruce up anything I wear. I always have it on, and it makes me feel like a million bucks! Not only because it is a diamond, but because it signifies our relationship. :)

My favorite piece is my wedding ring, I have been divorced for 20 yrs and then I moved to the middle of the country and met someone from the east coast like me. We fell in love and got married May 2010. He bought me the most beautiful wedding ring gold with 11 diamond chips in it. People have told me they need a magnifying glass to see them, but for someone who never thought she would find that special someone, it is absolutely gorgeous and when i look at it daily I remember the man who stole my heart.

  • 41 Carrie // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:20 pm

I made a necklace out of pale pink twisted wire, acrylic flowers and leaves, and an assortment of pink, clear and gray pearls and glass beads. It always gets a “Wow!”

  • 42 Jessica // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:23 pm

Definitely my Swarovski necklace from way back when I was Homecoming royalty. I still love that thing…

  • 43 Mari Ayotte // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:34 pm

I wear a gold ring that consists of two crosses. Two crosses together symbolize strength . It is in remembrance of my brother who felt I helped him during his battle with cancer. It is a conversational piece, not only is it attractive , but it helps people open up to me whenever they question the meaning of this ring.

  • 44 Donna // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:39 pm

I have a few things that make me feel good. An sapphire & diamond ring, a sterling necklace I made myself & my wedding band.

  • 45 Angelia M // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:40 pm

I am never without my 10th anniversary band which has 3 hearts cut out on the band, 3 hearts representing the 3 loves in my life; my husband and two sons.
But my all time favorite necklace and bracelet that I wear and make me feel special are the ones my children made me!
The bracelet is made from leather and sparkle beads strung on it, the necklace is crocheted thread with beads and a homemade clay pendant.

  • 46 Patti DelValle // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:44 pm

It would be my “freedom ring”. It’s a ruby ring (my birthstone) that I bought with my own money that I earned after getting divorced. To this day, 16 yrs later, I still look at that ring with pride- and feel instantly glamorous, sexy, strong and independent!

  • 47 Teresa O. // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:49 pm

Mine is my wedding rings also…When my husband gave me my engagement ring when we were dating, I used to wait till he wasnt looking and run and get my wedding band too and look at them for the longest lol…they arent humungous or very flashy but it was the love behind them that made them so special to me…we actually went to trade them in on bigger ones later and when we got to the jewelry store I was like no way….it wouldnt have been the same….im content with them. And I wouldnt trade them or my family in on anything or anyone.

  • 49 Latoya O'Neall // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:53 pm

  • 50 Karen // Sep 28, 2011 at 12:53 pm

A special gift from my special man, my 3 emerald pendant on gold chain (for my May birthday)

  • 52 Teri Williams // Sep 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm

The most glamerous piece of jewelry would be my Mom’s opera lenght pearls which I never got to wear. She left them to me and when I brought all her fun 1940′s jewelry home I found these unbeleivable pearls. To my dismay my house was robbed only a few days later and I lost everything of hers and all but what I was wearing of mine.
Presently I would have to say a Dragonscale bracelet I made of Argentium silver and colorful Niobium, but I sure would have loved to wear those pearls once, even tho I was young and not a pearl girl I appreciated their beauty.

  • 53 Donna T // Sep 28, 2011 at 1:06 pm

My engagement ring is my most glamourous piece of jewelry.

  • 54 Kate Bruski // Sep 28, 2011 at 1:25 pm

The most glamorous piece of jewelry I ever made was a 2-strand pearl bracelet with an enameled crystal focal piece. I gave it to my daughter. My most glamorous piece of purhcased jewelry is a pair of earrings my husband gave me that have a gold crystal ear piece with interchangeable drops of black onyx or white pearl, both with gold/crystal bead caps. They make me feel pretty :)

  • 55 Allison Rutan // Sep 28, 2011 at 1:27 pm

Mine is an emerald cut diamond ring and a diamond cut 18 carat gold bracelt that was left to me when my mom passed away. I was just 20 when she passed away and she died just three weeks before Christmas and my father gave each of my sisters special pieces of jewelery that my mom had chosen for us before she passed away. I became sick after she died and my husband didn’t have the money to buy me an engagement ring due to all the medical bills so I gave him my diamond ring and told him when he wanted to ask me to marry him that I would be honored to have my mothers ring as an egagement ring. I wear the bracelet every day and haven’t removed it for 10 years now.

  • 56 Vicki H // Sep 28, 2011 at 1:31 pm

I slip my princess ring on my finger and feel amazing and glam! My daughter picked out and gave me the ring for my birthday a few years back. It is a silver ring with a big fat round amethyst (beautiful purple my fave colour) set with prongs around it, that make it look like a tiara. Hence I call it my princess ring :-)

  • 57 Bridgette Reichwein // Sep 28, 2011 at 1:31 pm

When I had my first child, my husband bought me this beautiful 6ct Blue Moon Quartz ring. Its stunning with diamonds on the side and set in white gold. Everytime I put it on, I feel like I’m a princess!

I always feel special when I wear my Claddagh charm necklace. It was given to me after my Mom Mom passed away and whenever I wear it I feel close to her. It’s a great piece of her and a piece of my Irish heritage. I wear it whenever I need a pick me up or whenever my husband and I have a date night.

  • 59 Karen // Sep 28, 2011 at 2:12 pm

I have a platinum filigree, emerald and diamond bracelet that my grandfather commissioned for my grandmother in the 1930′s…it is classy, classic and my very favorite piece of jewelry.

  • 60 Julie Gastelum // Sep 28, 2011 at 2:12 pm

I made myself a pretty pearl and crystal necklace. It is simple but the crystals give it sparkle….what girl doesn’t like sparkle? It gives anything I am wearing just a fashionable and classy look, from jeans to the little black dress.

My all time glamerous piece of jewelry? I guess I would say its my right angle weaved seed beads necklace with Turquoise beads wood beads in the center of it . Every time I wear it, I get tons of complements.

My most special piece of jewelry is a rose gold opal bracelet that I inherited from my dear grandmother. I think it’s from Europe because it is a one of a kind piece that I’ve never seen anything quite like it. I’m a Libra and it’s my birthstone and I only wear it on Extremely special occasions.

  • 65 Jenna Reid // Sep 28, 2011 at 8:09 pm

My most glamorous piece of jewellery is a copper (I love copper) chain necklace bursting with copper dangles, swarovski rounds, cubes, bicones and these teeny little swarovski sequins that are nigh impossible to find, in aquamarine, montana sapphire and indicolite (my favourite). It is especially pretty when the light hits it just right and strikes a hundred tiny rainbows from all the facets. I feel like a water-sprite princess in it. I’m pretty sure that the search for the correct size of swarovski baroque pendant is what led me to Artbeads in the first place!

  • 66 Amber // Sep 29, 2011 at 4:23 am

My go to glamor piece is most definitely a re-purposed cuff bracelet I snazzed up! I found an interesting piece at a local store, a pewter colored cuff bracelet. It was missing stones and other accents, and was marked down to $1. I used some silver-tone filigree pieces and attached them to the sides of the bracelet to cover up where some accents had been broken off. I use tiny round flatback Swarovski crystals in Crystal Moonlight in some of the indented pattern that was already on the bracelet. I also replaced the missing center stone with an oval shaped Fancy Swarovski Crystal in Crystal Moonlight. The center stone is surrounded by some very interesting pewter colored stones that were all in tact when I purchased the bracelet. I get more complements on that bracelet than any other piece I own, and it sparkles all over the room when I wear it! Most definitely my most glamorous “statement” piece!!

  • 71 Teresa Oakes // Sep 29, 2011 at 3:54 pm

It belonged to my grandmother. It is the circle design with like the branches or vines with differant color stones in it. She has been almost 30 years and it was her fav costume piece of jewelry. :)

  • 72 Morgan Rothenberger // Sep 29, 2011 at 5:25 pm

I have a gorgeous diamond ring that was my grandmother’s. When I put it on, I feel her love encircle me and I feel strengthened by the belief she had that I could do anything I wanted to.

  • 73 Cindy Cooper // Sep 29, 2011 at 5:33 pm

My favorite piece of jewelry is a piece I made myself. I have 5 square pieces of ocean fossil jasper that are separated by 8mm Swarovski crystals that are a pale golden color and red adventurine. This part of the necklace lays just below my collarbone. I have thin baseball glove leather lacing attached to 6mm silver circles. Describing the necklace doesn’t sound as good as it looks. I once wore it to a party, feeling like a million dollars, because every woman there wanted it. Someone offered me $125.00 to take it off and give it to her! To me it is priceless!

I love the two rings my boys gave me. One is white gold with an amethyst and the other is an emerald with diamond chips in gold. My third favorite is a ring my parents had made for me from some stones left to me by my grandmother and coincidently the stones were two of my boys birthstones the purchased the peridot for the third the ring is gold with the stones kined up in a diagonal line – 2 diamonds, the peridot another diamond, the ruby, and 2 more diamonds. Coincidently it is also christmas colors and I received it for christmas. These three rings mean the world to me. The amethyst ring was purchased by my eldest son when he was 15 and on a school trip to France. The emerald was from all three when they were teenagers. They all chipped in and my middle son picked it out and made the purchase. I never take these rings off except to clean them.

A little bling is all it takes to transform me from feeling frumpy to fabulous!

My swarovski heliotrope heart earrings always make any outfit shine. People always see bright glints of blue-purple between strands of my dark hair, and it looks gorgeous.

My Go-To Bling is the very first bead embroidery necklace I made. It’s a black cab, set with silver delicas and then beaded around with more black and silver seed beads. I added fringe with czech crystal rondelles at the bottom and a simple chain in black glass rounds. Every time I wear it I get WOWs from people! LOL

My go to glamorous piece that makes me feel fabulous would be an asymmetric necklace I designed to wear with a black dress on a Caribbean cruise. I made a spiral rope with black Japanese seed beads and rainbow cranberry Japanese cyclinder beads and added some black pearls and AB crystals to add glitz and glam. It sparkles like crazy and I get many compliments on it.

My most glamorous piece that makes me feel very special is the bracelet that I made for myself for my daughter’s wedding. Nothing could make me feel more special or more happy than that bracelet. Just looking at it reminds me of that wonderful day. I also made her bracelet in the same style, but with different pearls and swarovski crystals. I made the bridesmaids their bracelets as well.
Most memorable piece that I will ever have!

I made a yellow, orange, turquoise collar, called Moonglow, which brought out our Hawaiian color, and was a happy, sparkly piece. I loved wearing it with my white dress.

My most glamour piece of jewelry is a gorgeous, comma-shaped black mabe’ pearl framed in gold that I got from my husband one year for my birthday.

  • 92 Lisette // Sep 30, 2011 at 3:58 pm

My prettiest piece of jewelry is a piece I designed to enter a design contest. It is a unique design made with tons of little sterling silver dangles, each with its own pearl, and sterling chain and handmade clasp, and is adjustable. I really love it:)

My one piece of jewelry that always makes me feel glamorous is a crystal tear drop pair of earrings featuring crystal ab rondelles and sterling silver ear wires. I love how they dangle off my ears and sparkle in the light. I designed these earrings for a cancer patient to wear on her wedding day and decided I just had to have a pair for myself.

  • 94 Mary // Sep 30, 2011 at 5:22 pm

I usually wear fairly simple jewelry, so I feel really dressed up when I put on my sparkly dangle earrings made of Swarovski crystals. The earrings are very fluid and and catch the light everytime I move. They make me smile.

Any thing my Dad gave me. He had wonderful taste. Whenever I saw the Thayer’s label on the box, I knew I was getting something special. I treasure each and every piece from him. Unfortunately both he and the store are now gone.

My most glamorous piece has to be my own design, the Last Rose of Summer Necklace made with your Hill Tribe Rose pendant, sterling and golf filled filled 2mm beads. I feel tres chic whenever I put it on. I don’t normally wear this type of jewelry but in this case I am really glad I made 2 so I can have one!

my favorite piece is a Pearl twisted bracelet with different shades of pink square crystals mixed with it. It’s a statement piece, and very girly at the same time! I like to wear it all by it’s self with just a simple pair of pearl ear rings.

My pearl, larimar (yay larimar!!), moonstone and topaz pendant. I wear it all the time, have been for years, and *every day* I get compliments on it (:

  • 109 Barb // Oct 2, 2011 at 1:48 pm

My favourite go-to necklace is one I made with black oval onyx stones spaced with sterling silver round beads. It is just a bit longer than a choker and goes with everything, adding a nice finishing touch to just about any outfit. Simple elegance. I also adore dangle earrings, especially ones made with Swarovski crystals. Just love the sparkle!

  • 110 Dana // Oct 2, 2011 at 1:49 pm

I made a necklace with an oval crystal cal Swarovski ring, a silver and swarovski crystal filigree piece, with two strands of shiny silver chain and one strand of crystal rhinestone chain. I was described as the ‘girl wearing the sparkly necklace’ once while wearing it. I cannot think of a better compliment! :)

  • 111 Paula M. // Oct 2, 2011 at 1:51 pm

My custom designed wedding ring is my favorite, special piece! It contains the gold from my dad’s wedding band, plus diamonds from my husband. It’s gorgeous, and never fails to get attention! I also adore fresh water pearls and use them in many of my necklace and bracelet creations-they are so special and have an updated, funky look!

  • 117 Ellen Lesak // Oct 2, 2011 at 2:07 pm

For meaningfulness, I wopuld choose my wedding ring set & my 20th year anniversary ring, for they both stand for love, enduring love. But that’s not the question. You asked what piece made us feel glamorous? For me, it’s a tie between a statement necklace I made mtse3lf, or my own chandelier earrings, with lots of sparkle & pretty stones. Like for Christmas, I made a matching set in freshwater pearls, end drilled, with some lovely faceted real garnet, garnet rounds, crystal ab accents, and silver. Simply smashing, and works with so much! And I feel so glamorous, like an old-time movie star- but clasdsy. Think Grace Kelly- still an icon, even after all these years. Now THAT’s glamor!!

I have a psalm23 handmade beaded bracelet that my uncle gave me before he passed away from liver cancer a few years ago. Each colored bead stands for one of the verses in the psalm. There is a prayer box and a cross charm that dangle from this bracelet and it always makes me feel complete when I put it on. I started making handmade beaded jewelry when my uncle was diagnosed with cancer and the psalm23 bracelet is now one of my signature pieces that I get a lot of orders for!

I made a macrame necklace years ago with two blue beads on it. I didn’t have enough hemp, and it didn’t fit well, so a little over a year later, I took it apart, made a new necklace from new (natural-colored) hemp, and put those beads on again, spaced so that I could put a pendant between them if I ever found one. About 8 or 9 months later, I finally found a cheap pendant at Walmart that was the same shade of blue and has a sort of lacy metal piece coming over it. It’s cheap, and in fact has had to be repaired already, but every time I wear it I get more compliments on that than any other piece of jewelry I own, including the fine jewelry I have. Even my two-year-old nephew tells me he likes my necklace every time I wear it!

My wedding ring is the most beautiful peice of jewerly I own, ever though it’s just a plain small band of gold, it never comes off. the other peice that never comes off is a small gold ID braclet that belonged to my grandmother, with her initails and the year she got it which just happens to be the year I was born :)

  • 135 Carmen Jimenez // Oct 2, 2011 at 3:05 pm

I made a tennis bracelet with swarovsky crystals, and believe me I feel very Glamorous whenever I wear it, especially since I continue to get a lot of compliments on it, just made earrings to match it! Even more Glamorous!!!!

  • 136 MAGDALENA POLISZCZUK // Oct 2, 2011 at 3:09 pm

I made a bracelet using the Swarovski Squares (4439) and sterling silver jump rings which alternate (rings, squares). I also used a swivel clasp so that it would be easier to put on whether I decided to wear on my left or right wrist. I liked the bracelet so much, I made it in all the different colors so I have about 12 of them! I get compliments on it every time I wear. :)

  • 137 Laura F // Oct 2, 2011 at 3:09 pm

My go-to-glamour piece is actually a pair of earrings: I made hammered one large and one smaller Sterling Silver circle, suspended them one under another with a jumpring, then hung a single deep citrine stone beneath.
They’re sparkly, modern, and make me smile! Love ‘em.

  • 138 bernie juracek // Oct 2, 2011 at 3:10 pm

My Stairway To Heaven ring, blue sapphires and diamonds. Rarely take it off. Feel real special when I wear my GRANDFATHERS EARRINGS! I was 14 and he said if I got my ears pierced I could have his best and favourite earrings. (I was his favourite grandchild because I am the image of my Grandmother) I got my ears pierced and I could hardly wait to go show Him!!! They lived a few hours away so we were going for the weekend in 2 weeks! My Grandfather died that week. He didn’t get to see my pierced ears. My heart was broken. After His Service we were at the house and my Gram took me aside and passed me a little blue box. She said “Your Grandfather wanted you to have these” and inside was a pair of beautiful little gold hoops! She added her beautiful Cameo Earrings that Grampy had bought her!!! I wore the Hoops on my Wedding Day and some family funerals. I wore Grams Cameo Earrings to her Funeral and burial. I am very careful with them but I wear them on extra special occasions and when I do I feel so loved!!!

My favorite piece of jewelry is my aquamarine necklace that hubby bought me when we were first married. It makes me feel special and glamourous when I wear it. It has such hope, dreams and happiness linked to it for me that it will always be my “special” piece.

  • 145 Liesl Rohland // Oct 2, 2011 at 3:44 pm

My most glamorous piece of jewelry is a long necklace of links made of sterling silver wire and Swarovski silver 8mm bicones. It sparkles a lot in any light, but if I stand in the sun, I’m told it’s almost blinding.

I’ve enjoyed reading each of these heart-felt stories about precious items. Jewelry is such a visible expression of who we are and how we feel about ourselves. As one who wouldn’t walk the dogs without earrings, I can’t say I have just one Go-To piece for glamour. If I’m stepping out, it’s going to be Swarovski for major light play!

  • 150 Sherrie Rosenberg // Oct 2, 2011 at 4:20 pm

My favorite piece is the fabulous beaded necklace, with Freida Kahlo’s image, that my cousin Sandy made for me.

  • 151 CINRAY // Oct 2, 2011 at 4:30 pm

I’d have to say my wedding band. When we became engaged 39 years ago we could only afford a 1/3 caret center diamond with a .3 chip across the band. I wore that ring for 35 years. On the Xmas of our 35 year he handed me a full caret center diamond with two .35 matching stones to set on either side of the big stone. I get compliments all the time! Talk about feeling glamorous!!!!

I love wearing artist made focal beads, I have a borosilicate pendant that looks like miniature coral reef, another that has the most realistic jelly fish on a cobalt blue background. I have also quite a collection of dicroic pendants. I have to bead them up long enough that i can look at them while I wear them!

  • 153 Nicole Herman // Oct 2, 2011 at 4:35 pm

My instantly fabulous go-to piece of jewelry is a necklace that I designed and created. I took some classes on how to make cloisonne jewelry. (Loved the challenge) It was the most amazing feeling in the world to create such an artform which has been around for so many years! I paired my creation with a fantastic collection of various glass beads, for a truly amazing necklace! Everytime I put this necklace on I feel like a queen! Especially because I know I created this work of art for others to enjoy seeing! Thank you!

There is a special sterling silver heart that hangs on a long sterling silver chain. It’s not so much how wearing it makes me feel, but just cherishing it. My father gave it to me for father’s day and it was the first and only time in my life he bought a present for me……….ever!

  • 155 Brenda // Oct 2, 2011 at 4:56 pm

My glamorous favorite would have to be my Swarovski wild heart pendant on a silver chain and matching wild heart earrings. I get so many complements! My favorite pieces to wear with jeans are a 3 strand Sodalite and sapphire Swarovski bracelet with matching graduated earrings and necklace. They dress up jeans just enough to add some glam without going too dressy. Truly love working with Swarovski crystals and can’t wait for the new line to come out! Especially the blue denim!!
