I’ve been on a bracelet making kick lately, so I’d probably slip a few into a bracelet, but earrings definitely :) I love pulling my hair back and showing the flash and sparkle of dangling earrings in the sunlight.. and you can’t get more flash and sparkle then from Swarovski :)

First, i would make a choker. It would have in the center a red magma shell–new from Swarovski–and one snowflake on each side. Kind of like a “charm”, yet crystals necklace–displaying all the new colors and shapes that make Swarovski so unique and brilliant.

Rather than take it out, I’m going to decorate it with many crystals, ribbons, and other sparkly things. A faery tree. If any crystals were left over, I’d make things to hang in the window and fill my house with light.

There are so many possiblities with that many pieces, it’s hard to name just one. :) Swarovski elements are great to make just about any type of jewelry or accessory and with mother’s day coming up, my mother and grandmother would definantly get something special from that win. The rest would probably be divied up into various pieces to be given as Christmas/Birthday gifts for the special women in my life. This is a wonderful opportunity and I (along with every other entrant) thank you for it.

  • 175 Kristine // Mar 24, 2012 at 5:38 pm

It would take their arrival and my being able to feel (not touch!) them to make the final decision(s) on the appropriate images that solidify. I have visions of the ethereal glow coming from dangling earrings, ‘charms’ slinking along a slender arm, wispy drops and caged brilliants accenting pearls along ‘floating’ necklaces . . . oh, what fantastic visions . . .

Swaroski are my favorite medium to work with. I make double flat sprial bracelets, lacey braceles, as well as putting Swaroski crystals with gemstones of all sorts. If I need any bling it is the crystal ab or just plain crystal I reach for. Have made many earrings with Swaroski cubes which I call carriage lights. Using Swaroski sewon crystal , I make a tennis bracelet that is very popular. If I win, I will buy the larger sizes of bicones, and rounds for the ideas still in my head. In the past 2 years of jewelry making I have purchased over $10,000 in product, most of it is Swaroski.

I am looking forward to creating a window pendant using all crystals to catch all the colors and brilliance Swarovski provides! I enjoy incorporating the quality and brilliance of Swarovski and their components in most of the jewelry that I design and create. The brilliance of Swarovski crystals are amazing, the pearls are rich, and components are made to last. My customers know the Swarovski name as a sign of quality. My latest projects included both crystals and pearls to create a Victorian Bridal Set and I used various sizes/colors & shapes of Swarovski Crystals to create a Galaxy Map Pendant.

Well, with Mother’s day approaching, I would definitely make my mother a complete set, with earrings, a bracelet and a necklace, with a wire wrapped pendant using one of the larger free-formed crystals. My mother has been such an endless and powerful source of support for me during my recent treatment for breast cancer and my present recurrent breast cancer…she absolutely deserves to be loved and pampered herself, and the best way I can think of to make that happen would be to adorn her with the most beautiful Crystals ever made…Swarovski Crystals! The Spring collection will provide endlessly soft color palettes, that will no doubt mingle gorgeously with several shades of Pink, to represent Breast Cancer Awareness. The intense beauty of Swarovski Crystals is something I believe will be a perfect match to the beauty of my Mother’s spirit and dedication to helping me to survive my cancer a second time! Without my Mother’s endless love, care and support, I surely wouldn’t be here today to write this post or even be able to PLAN FOR A FUTURE in which I can see myself creating the most outstanding set of jewels ever made! Even if I don’t win, I fully intend to follow through with my goal so as to thank my Mother for giving me life…more than once! I love you Mom! You’re my strength and my greatest inspiration, and when I DO beat this cancer for the second time, I’ve decided that when I finally grow up, I want to be just like you!

We have had so many deaths in our family in the last 6 years, from my daddy, husband, both in-laws ( which was like a mama and daddy to me), my sister in-law, grandmother, and neice…
I would make all my family members
( males included) a piece of jewelry to represent each passing of our family.
My mother, which is still young at 73, a matching set to go with each of the pieces I made for the family members…
It would be very nice to have it done by Mothers Day, but to me, time does not matter, I just want to be able to have the whole family together, and present each of them a gift and then give mama’s to her.
To see the tears of Joy and Pride is in Mama’s eyes is worth a million dollars.
Good Luck to the winner… and Good Luck to ya’ll in having to choose a winner out of all the entrants….

Swarovski Crystals have always been such a delight to put into designs and I love how they sparkle, but not too much it’s overwhelming! I love making jewelry for my friends who get married and I also use them for decorating purposes at weddings. My sister is a wedding coordinator and she is currently having me help with a wedding that wants Swarovski Crystals hanging from fabric off of the ceiling to provide a twinkling look for their special night. I would love to experiment with these new crystals to provide an even more amazing look (Maybe even for my own wedding some day ;D ) Thanks Artbeads for such an awesome chance to win some fantastic items! • 368 Onye Ndika // Mar 27, 2012 at 11:21 am

Definitely I would be making some serious bracelets and earrings. I would select one large piece as a focal for a necklace.

  • 369 Amanda // Mar 27, 2012 at 11:26 am

I see them brightening up my kind of bummy mood lately. They’re absolutely beautiful and it’d really feel good to win something so stunning :)

  • 371 Deryl // Mar 27, 2012 at 11:28 am

I would make bracelets and earrings for all my grand daughters, or pehaps something very special for me to celebrate my 70th birthday. Nothing would be unused for sure.

Well, I do have several strands of flourite beads in various sizes that need a little inspiration to become a great summer necklace, earrings, and bracelet – a bit of crystal goodnees might just be the thing I need to set off the great colors in the flourite :)

Or maybe I could add a few key pieces to a piece of needlework – maybe find a silk thread that needs a bit of crystal to go with :) Because, when it comes to my needlework, you can never have too many beads to go with the stitches :)

I am waiting for lots of the new rose peach crystals to arrive from Artbeads…plus 2 Wild Hearts…to make gifts. If I won I would treat myself and indulge in a few bracelets and earrings “just for ME”, 8-))

  • 374 Sharon // Mar 27, 2012 at 11:40 am

I am a new beader and would love to try these beads in a spring necklace and earrings! I have raven mentality where I love anything shiny!

  • 375 Jonesy // Mar 27, 2012 at 11:42 am

I’m sort of a crystal nut and have been drooling over those new 2 hole columns and the Rose Peach color is amazing!
I’ve had a ton of ideas floating around in my head since I first saw the new spring/summer line, lol. Bracelets, necklaces, anklets… yeah, I’m a nut LOL

  • 376 Mallory // Mar 27, 2012 at 11:51 am

probably earrings but who knows how I might get inspired

  • 377 Marcy Konno // Mar 27, 2012 at 11:51 am

    I LOVE Swarovski EVERYTHING!!

Personally, if I won, I would use these to make doggy (or kitty!) “jewelry” for my special friends! I can always make jewelry for myself and the other humans in my life but why not spoil the special dog or cat in our lives as well?! They’re our best friends after all! I can already imagine doggy (and kitty) necklaces and charms to go with their dog tag. I could even match the colors to the “birthstone” of the dog (or cat)! I think that this giveaway would be marvelous for this!

Thanks for this wonderful opportunity! :)

Swaroski’s latest release has so many lovelies in it. The colors are magnificent. I would use any of the new crystal luminous green in combination with some of the new rose peach crystals for a delicate bracelet and necklace perhaps with some wirewrapping. The burgandy blue zircon blend would look awesome in a chunkier bracelet. I would probably use it in a 5 strand bracelet. For halloween every year I dress up as a fairy and the fern green topaz blend beads would be great for a new accessory set. I would make a new shimmering headpiece (especially if i got an ellipsis focal in the fern blend) as well as a delicate bracelet and bead weave choker.

I would like to have a beading party and help my guests create their own style!

  • 380 Wendy Literski // Mar 27, 2012 at 12:11 pm

The jewelry/designs I would create will be posted for sale on my Etsy site honoring Artbeads for their contribution to the design.

  • 381 Katrina // Mar 27, 2012 at 12:11 pm

I would make bracelets for my daughters. They have been so supportive of my beading & jewelry making. They deserve something special like this.

  • 382 Hannah // Mar 27, 2012 at 12:18 pm

That’s a good question. I would make a statement piece necklace that I could wear with a simple dress out on a date or to a party. I would also make some simple earrings to offset the extravagance of the necklace.

  • 383 Linda Napoli // Mar 27, 2012 at 12:19 pm

I would make some dazzling jewelry for my daughter and friends. Maybe embellish some picture frames or whatever else my daughter would like.

  • 384 Virginia // Mar 27, 2012 at 12:31 pm

I would make earrings and a necklace, most likely in conjunction with vintage beads. Other than vintage crystal, Swarovski is the only kind of crystal I use!

  • 385 ExpressiveBeauty // Mar 27, 2012 at 12:59 pm

I would make some more earrings, necklaces, and bracelets for my spring bridal line. Swarovski elements are absolutely gorgeous. I wish I could buy them all of the time.

  • 386 Linda Brown // Mar 27, 2012 at 1:41 pm

I would make a bracelet for spring with major BLING! A crystal charm bracelet for the grads.

  • 387 Sandy // Mar 27, 2012 at 1:52 pm

Swarovski earrings in the shape of shiny molecules!

Something sparkly for a friend getting married!

  • 389 Melissa H // Mar 27, 2012 at 2:25 pm

I would make a bracelet or earrings.

  • 390 Teresa McCrudden // Mar 27, 2012 at 2:33 pm

I am presently suncatchers for my sisters. But am thinking of using some of the smaller beads to decorate pillows, picture frames depending on what type of beads are given away.

  • 391 CommonSenseMom // Mar 27, 2012 at 2:33 pm

I would make some super blingy jewelry for springtime!!!

  • 392 Joyce Cason // Mar 27, 2012 at 2:36 pm

I would make earrings! Dangling ones long ones, short ones, hoops and drops.

  • 393 shannon weiser // Mar 27, 2012 at 3:40 pm

I know that I would make a stack of bracelets to shimmer and shine when I go out or to wear for belly dance performances. I then might make matching earings that dangle and catch the sunlight. Honestly, there’s many things I could do with these things!

  • 394 beediebabe // Mar 27, 2012 at 3:44 pm

It kind of depends on what’s in the mix but I’m sure I’ll think of something – Swarovski crystals are always a wonderful inspiration… probably I’d make a bracelet and earring “set.” Thanks!

  • 395 Pat // Mar 27, 2012 at 5:43 pm

I would create a gorgeous multi strand set to be raffled for our ACS Relay for Life team.

  • 396 kristy // Mar 27, 2012 at 8:24 pm

    something super sparkly!!

  • 397 Laura // Mar 27, 2012 at 10:11 pm

I would make a lovely Easter Bracelet with matching Necklace and Earring Set. Embellish a Top with any extra crystals. Swarovski is always beautiful no matter how creative your imagination is!
