There’s no better time to be inspired by nature than in autumn. The color-changing leaves, the crisp mornings soothed by afternoon sun, and the familiar smells like pumpkin spice and burning embers. For our latest giveaway, we want you to channel all of your senses and share an ode to the season. The new fall collection from Nunn Design is full of elegance and romance, so we thought this would be an amazing opportunity to give one lucky winner a special prize. Inside this collection are sweet simplicities like floral bead caps and honeybee embellishments among others, all with the intent of helping you make a lasting memory in your designs.
Nunn Design helps you tell a story through every detail, like we did in our Opportunity pendant idea. This design beautifully portrays a powerful message of hope and aspiration through an allegorical bird and cage design. The quality of Nunn Design jewelry components is what makes this new line so special. Their signature heirloom style is captured in these new pieces, leaving you with jewelry of unquestionable style.

Leaves fall to the ground
The air gets a little bit chill
Penguin blanket warm
I love the locket! What a cute idea. I think that Nunn findings are of really good quality and make great looking jewelry. They are my go-to for charms and accent pieces.
Gonna give it a go 😛 lol
Colors are changing,
temps are too.
Nunn’s Fall Collection,
will add style to my Steampunk connections. 🙂
Festival
Sky is gray
But the festival of gold
Is everywhere
Translucent leaves
Make bright the day
Sharing it with
Reds, oranges and chartreuses
They Stand out
Against the black tree trunks
In a dizzying carnival of color
I stand in awe
My heart lifted
In festive joy!
Wispy gray into blue
Soft rustle, then crispy red and yellow
The smell of earth, richness
Shuffling feet along the path
Stirring up memories of burning pine needles and grass
And then, the stillness
Another Autumn past
Bright orange, red and yellow all falling to the ground.
Where else can such beautiful splendor be found?
Cool crisp fall days. Harvest moons that amaze.
Preparations made for the winter to come, but not until each tree is undone.
the chill in the air
ensures the rich autumn colors are here
in all their glory
to brighten our day
all the while whispering
to make sure we know
with their own special words
the darkness of winter is not far way…
The chill in the wind
Beautiful rainbow display in the trees
Warm sweaters
Hot chocolate
Warm hugs
FALL!
pretty red and gold
scraping frost from the windshield
shoveling soon comes
Temperatures cool.
Trees don their fancy dresses.
Fall is here at last!
My haiku:
Here in Florida
Means no Autumn falling leaves
Will use beads instead!
Crisp mountain air
waters streaming down the hills waiting for the long winter chills
Red, golds, browns and yellow
new fires in the fireplace for toasting marshmellows
squirrels scampering in a hasty search
bears looking for that special place to lay
meetings and greetings at the local festivals
turkey , stuffing, deviled eggs….
ham , cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie
fields overflowing with the bounty of mans labors
all the old movies we’ve watched for years at this time
with popcorn and a glass of red wine
for the kiddies a soda or chocolate milk
a feather pillow and a thick warm quilt
fuzzy slippers , flannel pajamas and a long furry robe
fall is a time to slow and reflect on good times of old and new times to come
let it snow let it snow let it snow
and off to grandma’s house we go
Golden autumn tones
Creativity begins
Lovely jewelry
Twas the night before Thanksgiving, and all through the house
Not a baker was baking, not even my spouse.
The pie crusts were empty, the cookie dough raw,
the oven resembled a dark, gaping maw.
The children were nestled, all snug in their beds
while visions of feasting danced all through their heads.
My husband still dressed, and I in my sweats,
were both hard at work, we’d be getting no rest.
The emails poured in, new orders abound
Not a spare moment for cooking was found.
Surrounded by beads, and cute Nunn Designs,
we had jewelry to make, and so little time!
Black Friday was looming, Cyber Monday not far,
followed by a big ol’ church craft bazaar.
Pearls to be strung, and beads to be stitched,
in our Thanksgiving plans, there was a hitch.
The turkey was frozen, the potatoes un-mashed,
but my hands were busy with filigree brass.
Pendants, and rings, and bracelets galore,
earrings, and necklaces, pins, and still more.
With so much to do, and no end in sight,
I knew we were in for a long long fall night.
Components and beads, needles and thread,
snippets of patterns all covered my bed.
I thought of my children, my in laws as well,
I knew how no feast would go over, not swell!
But I looked at my beads, and my pile of orders,
and tucked thoughts of food in my mind’s darkest corner.
There would plenty of time for feasting and such,
I hoped they’d be patient, I wasn’t asking much.
I grinned to myself and thought “Hurrah!”
I’d serve a feast after the cold winter’d thawed.
Happy Holiday’s from Little Hill Jewelry 🙂
Colors swirling down
Leaves dancing in the sunlight
Frolic, play away.
leaves are changing from green to red gold and orange
temps are changing from hot to cold
sweaters and long pants tell us that winter is near
but until the snow and ice arrive
there are festivals and football games
with friends to enjoy
holidays of ghosts and goblins
turkey and thanksgiving
memories of soliders both with us and gone
to honor and remember
before winter is truly here
Silver plated NUNN

Fall is the beauty we see in ourselves every day.
Colors changing, ever loving, always evolving.
One last breath before the cold
When natures green has turned to gold
When days are short and branches bare
Before winters kiss has chilled the air
All the raked up autumn memories that I cling to in my heart
That the icy songs of winter are sure to pull apart
One last bit of warmth before the snow, one last sunny sky so blue
One last ray upon my cheek, before the world begins anew.
Autumn has come,
colder nights,
stronger sun.
Leaves aburst in a fiery show,
soon to depart when the strong winds blow.
All too soon, we’ll look outside,
snow will be falling from the sky!
I love the bee. I would love to make a hive for it and hang both on a spiral rope.
Falls a ball
when theres crunchy leaves to jump in,
lots of cider to be drinkin’ and
your favorite football teams a winnin’!
I would very much like to work with your products! they would compliment any jewelry designers work beautifully!
The leaves falling down
turn the ground into a quilt
of gold, pink, and orange.
Overnight
the trees explode
red, gold, orange, purple.
Overnight
my little boys
morph into Star Wars characters
tell spooky stories
and beg strangers for candy.
Overnight
the storms are down
and the heat is up.
Overnight
the squirrels gain Rubenesque proportions
while sparrows and chickadees flood the feeders
Overnight
it is autumn.
Red, orange, and gold never gets old.
Cool, crisp, and dry; leaves flutter by.
Short days, long nights, just don’t seem right!
When it’s dark and the leaves are falling. I sit and listen to the birds calling. Where have the long summer days gone.? I think I’ll put my sweater on!
falling leaves
mark the season
chill in the air
frost on the ground
time to huddle inside
and bead, bead, bead
