My favorite glamorous jewelry is my 20th anniversary gift-an Aquamarine stone in a pave’ setting, worn with a necklace I designed of swarovski white pearls, aqua crystals, and black onyx beads with tiny silver rounds as spacers.
    Gorgeous!!!!

  • 41 L Davis // Jan 18, 2013 at 7:05 am

My engagement ring’s diamond stands a bit taller than I’d like, so I don’t always wear it. (It catches on things!) I usually just wear the matching wedding band. But for special occasions I wear them both together, and the extra sparkle makes me feel so fancy!

  • 42 Sharon H of Tenn // Jan 18, 2013 at 7:21 am

For our 25th anniversary my husband gave me a beautiful ring with one stone for each year we`d been married. I love it and wear in when I need a lift.

I love the feeling that I get, when I put on my broad, flat gold snake necklace – it’s simple, and “gleamy”, and makes me feel proud and confident, and beautiful! My husband gave it to me, and he just glows when he sees me wearing it – and I love seeing him, feeling him, being proud of me, too!

    A sapphire ring :-)

  • 81 Renee // Jan 18, 2013 at 4:47 pm

My one piece of jewelry for feeling red-carpet worthy and just plain fabulous, is a necklace that I made. It is a gold-filled, wire-wrapped pendant of fiber-optic glass in cream and Kelly green and looks vaguely like a chrysanthemum design. The wrapped topper is a swirl alternating with clear AB Swarovski bicones and gold-filled beads. It is strung on a necklace alternating between cream-colored faceted jade beads and vintage green Japanese glass beads with dividing accents of either clear AB Swarovski bicones or gold-filled beads. Of course I had to make matching earrings in the jade & glass beads with a gold bead and crystal. The ensemble makes me feel very elegant.

  • 82 Theresa R. Williams // Jan 18, 2013 at 5:26 pm

My fav jewelry is a gorgeous gemstone and sterling silver necklace and bracelet handcrafted set that my son bought for me in South Africa a year ago. It has huge faceted gemstones (citrine, amber, carnelian, tiger’s eye, amethyst, onyx, lapis lazuli, and, more), all set with sterling silver bead caps and spacers and beads up the wazoo! and, even crystals! It is just the most amazing jewelry I have ever owned. This set can be worn formal or casual and anyway in between, which I do, with sooo many compliments.

PS: It actually looks a bit like the necklace in the banner ArtBeads has at the top of this page.

You are describing one of my necklaces perfectly. I made some polymer clay beads, showed them to my 12 year old son, and asked him to design a necklace. He designed, I put it all together, and voila! It’s that one piece that makes me feel like a million bucks!

I don’t have a specific piece to glam up an outfit. I have a ton of jewlery and choose them dependent upon my outfit.

  • 122 Judy Zerbe // Jan 21, 2013 at 1:43 pm

I love sparkle. Diamonds would fit the bill!

  • 123 Amber // Jan 21, 2013 at 1:50 pm

My go-to glamour accessory is actual a cuff bracelet I picked up for $1.99…it was a damaged piece that I transformed…It already had some interesting designs on it, it is a gunmetal-ish tone, and has gunmetal-ish round stones surrounding an oval shape where a stone once sat. I removed some of the original decor, but left the dark stones. I chose to add Swarovski Crystal Moonlight oval rhinestone as the centerpiece, and added tiny matching rhinestones and silver filigree links on either side. I always get compliments on it, and it is super sparkly and glamourous, with a little rocker edge to it :)

My go to piece is any one of Glo Bullocks pieces – a wonderful local jewelry designer who should be in NY city or LA

My grandmother’s aquamarine cocktail ring is my favorite thing to wear on special occasions. It is sterling silver sunbeam style with some faux pave around the center stone!

    Beautiful colors!

My glamour accessory is a swarovski crystal bracelet I made with the crystal silver shade and crystal silver night bicones. The clasp is a beadelle toggle in the gunmetal finish.

My mother’s ring that she designed with diamonds from several other rings. That and any of my wire wrapped pieces.

My silver choker with a silver amulet-I feel elven!

  • 131 Pam DeWispelaere // Jan 21, 2013 at 6:09 pm

I made a simple bracelet with silver plate tubes/noodles, with center focal of 4 and 6 mm crystals surrounding sterling silver oval bead. The clasp includes small chain length the crystal dangle. It is simple but beautiful and I wear it more than anything else.

Hands down, my most “wow” piece of jewelry is a Paul Klecka ring. I received it for our 10th year anniversary present. It is so amazing. It basically looks like an engagement and a wedding band. The ring wraps around my finger without making a complete circle–the “engagement” section is yellow gold in a high invisible round diamond setting and the “band” part is flat platinum channel set with princess cut diamonds. Anterior 14 years, I still get a thrill looking at it and wearing it.

I have a piece of costume jewelry that looks fabulous. Even though it is the Evenstar necklace from LOTR, those who are not familiar with the books/films think it is a stunning necklace. Those that are familiar quickly become green with envy.

I made a charm bracelet of black and silver, including vintage buttons crystals and Chezch beads. Its my go to for something sparkly and special.

  • 135 Nancy // Jan 22, 2013 at 8:21 am

My grandmas diamond ring, it is very sparkly!

For me it would be diamond earrings I got as a gift a few years back.

My go-to is a vintage Whiting & Davis 3-coil snake bracelet that I got at the flea market many years ago! It’s so sparkly & slinky and reminds me of Liz Taylor whenever I put it on! I try to always wear something with Swarovski crystal or rhinestones to go with it.

  • 139 CraftyHope // Jan 22, 2013 at 4:37 pm

I just received this really cheap rhinestone bracelet but the design reminds me of the 20s. It’s flirty and girly and boy does it sparkle!

I love my moonstone and 24k gold plated bead beaded bead earrings that I made. They make me feel like a movie star when I wear them. :)

  • 141 Jody Blackwell // Jan 22, 2013 at 10:35 pm

My “glam style” would have to be the Fire and Ice earrings that I made, with silver heart links and Swarovski Crystals…

  • 142 Paula Brown // Jan 23, 2013 at 8:17 am

    Anything that sparkles!

I have been ordering from you for quite sometime. Prices are great, service is wonderful and the free shipping is a plus. I love ArtBeads!
And my favorite piece is a pair of green and sterling earrings that were my Mom’s. She died in 2004 of breast cancer and when I need her, I put on her earrings and fell like I have her a little closer.

  • 144 Kathy Sommers // Jan 23, 2013 at 8:24 am

My favorie piece is a pair of green and sterling earrings that were my Mom’s. We lost her in 2004 to breast cancer and I still miss her terribly. When I need her, I put her earrings on and I feel her with me. I also take her to all the family gatherings and other FUN stuff…

My go-to jewelry is always a pair of earrings. I don’t feel dressed without earrings to match whatever I’m wearing. I’ve been known to make a pair of earrings after I’m dressed so that they match my outfit. My favorite pair are gold wishbone earrings given to me by my Dad . He passed away in 1981 so I treasure them.

  • 146 Susan Berger // Jan 23, 2013 at 8:53 am

Anything with diamonds makes me feel dressed and ready to hit the red carpet, even if only in my dreams!

  • 147 Karen Fortney // Jan 23, 2013 at 8:54 am

I have two fav. pieces. One being my Pandora Bracelet from my husband, and beautiful Plumeria Flower Earrings with a diamond, from two dear freinds of mine in Hawaii. Both make me feel special when I wear them!!!

  • 151 Eugenie // Jan 23, 2013 at 10:15 am

  • 152 Jennifer // Jan 23, 2013 at 11:10 am

My go to accessory is always my sterling silver chain. I usually wear the same pendant, but I switch it off every so often. It just always make me feel wonderful. And I have a habit of reaching up and playing with it, so I have to have something there.

  • 153 Betty D // Jan 23, 2013 at 1:11 pm

My favorite is my 40th wedding anniversary ring. Sterling and a paisley full of diamonds with swirls and swirls. Beautiful. The hubby has good taste!

  • 154 Carol Cowles // Jan 23, 2013 at 1:39 pm

Love bling. With I had more of it. These earrings would be a great addition!

  • 155 Christine // Jan 23, 2013 at 3:48 pm

I love to wear jewelry that sparkles, and with the pieces I make, and the items I have received as gifts from my husband, I never have to look far for something that will fill that need.

  • 156 Pam S // Jan 23, 2013 at 4:56 pm
