  “puppies” does make me think of 101 Dalmatians which would relate to dalmatian jasper as a bead. But that seems maybe too obvious. Not sure what other “dog” stones exist though!

  My guess to start off would be…an emerald color Swarovski crystal since they are the leader in design. Emerald is also the color this year. As for the puppies helping with the beading process, Toto comes to mind. He goes to the emerald city with Dorothy. But this time maybe he strings little crystals to help Dorothy find her way back home. Then again, it was but only a dream. Like this, as we ponder over the clues, our imaginations try to decipher.   I have pondered on this one and my guess is that you have bought a Malamute or Huskie puppy. Alaskan dogs, not Austrian, but they are popular in cold countries like Austria.

  The branch clue has me thinking you are getting an “offshoot” to the Husky or Malamute. Hmmm, I will wait for the next clue.
