Swarovski Color-Changing Crystals

Did you know that Swarovski has two colors that change depending on the lighting they receive? We have created animated images that perfectly reflect these unique color-changing crystals. Cantaloupe has a soft green color under fluorescent and natural light but changes to a beautiful peach color under incandescent lighting. Under fluorescent light and sunlight, alexandrite appears light blue and changes to a beautiful violet color with incandescent light.

  1. That is so good to know! Could have easily thought I’d lost my mind when the color kept shifting. Now I know it’s the bead! Would probably be a good idea to keep both colors in mind when adding other complimentary beads, so the jewelry looks good in both kinds of light.

I love these colors already but wish they’d come out with more! I’d love a yellow to pink one and some shade of brown.

What a neat trick! I love the alexandrite color – both shades are perfect for birthstones!

Do you sell these beads or know where they can be bought?

Hi there! We’re sorry, but these Swarovski Crystals have been discontinued and we no longer carry them. We’re not sure if anyone else still has stock, but you can definitely do a Google search for the Swarovski colors in Cantaloupe and Alexandrite.
