More Tucson Treasures keep on being added to our website, and I’m so excited to see all the variety. We have new metal beads with filigree patterns, lampwork beads and more. But these gemstone beads were some of my favorites. They have tiny facets that catch the light and draw the eye. That little touch of twinkle is hard to capture in a photograph, but it definitely enhances their appearance in real life! As I was helping to get these beads ready for you to see, I couldn’t help but notice their beautiful coloring and it got my imagination going! The pictures below are what the beads reminded me of. Feel free to leave a comment if they spark your imagination as well.
Lena Lake Trail by christfollower7777 | Green and Brown Faceted Round Agate Beads |
With their blend of greens and browns, these beads remind me of the lush foliage, hanging moss and thick tree trunks in the Olympic National Forest (just a few hours away from Artbeads).
Blue and White Teapot by wasmmum | Blue and White Faceted Round Agate Beads |
I’ve always been fascinated by the scenery and patterns found on blue and white teacups and china sets. When I saw these beads, it’s the first thing I thought of. Wouldn’t they make a nice touch to a Victorian necklace or bracelet?
Playing with Ball 3 by Tambako the Jaguar | Black and Orange Faceted Round Agate Beads |
With their crackled pattern and orange and black coloring, these beads definitely have a wild look to them. They remind me of a tiger, even though they don’t have his stripes. |

OMG. I have spent a lot of time in the rainforest on the Oly peninsula. You found it in beads. Good eye!
