Fold forming is another fun technique–a sort of mashup of origami and forging. Tools are simple, and you can create many forms in 3-5 minutes. The inventor of this process, Charles Lewton-Brain, is a jewelry educator mentioned in many jewelry books. Look up the Fold Form tab on his website, http://www.brainpress.com. He teaches in Calgary Canada, but gives a few workshops stateside each summer. With so many possibilities, fold forming is an addictive jewelry technique!
