Honestly, I have been coveting these beads for so long, and would buy one of each if I could. I have not been able to make a commitment on the ONE I like best, until now that I have to! This is why I have not yet acquired one..hopefully if I win and get one, I will fall madly in love with it and just have to jump in and buy a bunch more…ok, all that being said, I absolutely adore the Fortune Teller on Black…gorgeous! Thanks for having the drawing and good luck to everyone!

These are all so lovely…I admire the intricate designs & steady hands it took to paint them! If I were so very lucky to win, I would pick: the “Rectangle Black Onyx Renaissance Painting – Mask Your Face”. For some reason it reminds me of my favorite opera (and also the movie) “The Phantom of the Opera” although I seriously doubt the artist had that in mind while painting this gorgeous piece…:> Thank you for a chance to win and for offering such unique & beautiful small works of art!

I looked at the website/ EACH and EVERY one of these beads/pendants are spectacular. I picked the peacock because my daughter is hoping to find a peacock inspired prom dress. I would LOVE the challenge to make something for her. I originally pictured something for her wrist-because it is a vibrant center piece. BUT I would like to challenge myself to make something for her hair. She has voiced her interest in a half-updo and even pushing it all up on one side. I could never afford this bead so it would be amazing if I won it! ====My imagination is just running a mile a minute because I can see rhinestones and peacock feathers on either side of this magnificent centerpiece

I agree all are beautiful…but I love the portraits and the Garden Queen is my favorite…beauty in nature….

  1. My favorite design would have to be “The Blue Bird With The Pink Flowers~”

There are so many beautiful designs that have been created…. and to think that they have been hand painted using a single bristle of a brush~ This is truly artistic brilliance~

It was a super tough call that took me two full days to figure out, but I’d have to say the 25x35mm Rectangle Black Onyx Orange Butterfly on Silver is my favourite. The others are incredibly beautiful and there were about 5 designs that were tied for my favourite, but in the end, it was the orange butterfly that won out because not only is it incredibly beautiful like the others, but it evokes the most emotional response from me. In the end, I had to simply stop using my head and gauge by emotion to pick a fave.

Oh, so many entries…How it is possible to hope for winning?
I love the detailed work and the choice of materials for the base for of all these extremely beautiful art creations. Did I mention of the proud feeling I have for the artists because I am Russian? 😀
My first choice (so hard to make one) would be 25x35mm Rectangle Black Onyx Gold Art Nouveau. I appreciate the gold/black color composition with lots of details in this work. I only wish it would be oval.
You probably will not even read all of this because it IS too much to read with all of the comments posted. Anyway, Good Luck to all of the participants!

  2. They’re all so beautiful, but I’d have to say Lily of the Valley on Carnelian. Thanks for such a fabulous giveaway!!

I love so many of them but I think my current favorite is the peacock on black onyx. The blues and greens of the peacock are really gorgeous. Wearing one of these is like wearing a tiny work of art. Each one is so beautiful.

Love the 3 Nightime Faires. Reminds me of my favorite childhood poem. My mother let me stay up late one night so I could see the faries, but it was too dark to see the faries.

  4. It is so hard to choose! They are all beautiful.! I am going to say Black Onyx-Amethyst by Mucha

    • Mona Brittain

My favorite one is the onyx with the siamese. It reminds me of my daughter’s first cat, Rameses, who was a beautiful Siamese with the same markings. Winning this would be great, as I would make a necklace for her (she’s just turned 5 on Valentine’s day) so she could look at it and remember our family friend who passed from feline leukemia.

Oh my, you really challenged us this time! So hard to narrow it down to JUST one!
I really like the 30×40 Rectangle Black Onyx Peacock. It’s simple and very pretty, and I love the vibrant blue, green, and gold against the onyx. I can picture a great necklace with peacock pearls, or maybe some turquoise, or some beautiful sea glass I’ve been saving… SO many ideas! I would just LOVE to make a piece with it!

    • February 21, 2012

They are all beautiful. It was hard to deside, but since i am a horse person i have to choose the 25×36 thoroughbred horse head on black onyx. Horses are my favorite 4 legged people.

So many to choose from! Two Swans, Three Nighttime Fairies, Birth of Venus, Mucha’s Amethyst, (any of Mucha’s!), Black Onyx Bee, any of the butterflies. Love love love these!

    • Donna Engbertson
    • February 21, 2012

There are so many to choose from! I love many of the pendants with birds, but I’d have a hard time choosing between the yellow Labrador retriever and the thoroughbred horse. If I had to choose, I’d go for the thoroughbred because it has a special grace to it and I love almost anything with horses.

I love the Siamese cat. It looks just like my old baby who is no longer with us. This pendant shows details and personality of the Siamese cat. AB-SIA1 is my choice.
I have never seen this form of artwork anywhere on the Net. Thank you
