Swarovski Crystals for your Nails

Yup, you read that right. Did you know that Swarovski released sparkling nail art kits? If you’re a nail tech or a nail artist and you love sparkle, then Swarovski Crystalpixie Nail Art is the thing for you! Swarovski released two different versions of Crystalpixie—Petite and Edge. Crystalpixie Petite is described as a “soft pixie dust” and consists of a combination of small, cut crystal components and round stones that resemble caviar to create a beautiful stardust-like effect on the nails. A complete kit includes a funnel and 5 grams of Crystalpixie Petite in the cutest faceted bottle. There are eight different kits to choose from including; Cute Mood, Rock Shock, Deluxe Rush, Classy Sassy, Candy Land, Starry Night, Comic Pop, and Exotic East. Crystalpixie Edge is “rockier, edgier, and unconventional”—this version consists of only the small Bicone shaped cut crystals, without the caviar-like round beads for a more textured and bold finish. These kits include a 2 gram bottle of both the Crystalpixie Petite and Edge styles and four flatbacks to complete the set. We currently carry the Cute Mood and Heart’s Desire with Red and Rock Shock and Heart’s Desire in Gold kits.

Both Crystalpixie styles add beautiful sparkle and amazing texture. These kits are perfect for both novice and professional use—take it to your favorite manicurist or DIY at home. You can use these with regular nail glue and traditional nail polish, acrylic, or gel. My preferred method is gel nails and the process of gel curing under an LED or UV lamp. The results are beautiful and best of all, can last up to 2 weeks!

We now carry ShineE Gel Top Coat and Gummy Jelly LED/UV Diamonds Gel for nails. These two products used together create a long lasting manicure with a glossy finish. The ShineE Gel Top Coat is a no-wipe or no-cleanse, semi-hard type top coat sealer that can be used with gel or acrylic nails. It’s great for preventing discoloration from everyday tasks. The Gummy Jelly gel is intended for use with diamonds, charms, or rhinestone crystals for a nail art design that won’t budge. This builder gel can be cured for 60-90 seconds under a LED or UV nail lamp. You can use these products together as you traditionally would with gel nails or try this tip: once you’ve applied your base and cured under a lamp, apply a layer of Gummy Jelly, then withoutcuring apply a layer of the ShineE Gel Top Coat right over the top of the Gummy Jelly, again do not cure and add your charms, rhinestones, or diamonds, and then cure for double the time! This trick helps you avoid the hassle of capping the edges of your crystals or working the top coat around the charms on your nails. It mimics a sort of shrink wrap effect, leaving you with a super strong bond between your nails and the crystals. You can watch these products in action in our Artbeads Cafe video.

What’s great about these nail kits is how versatile they are. You can incorporate them into wearable designs for every day or elaborate designs for special occasions like weddings, proms, or birthdays. A little goes a long way—one full-size kit will provide several uses. For extra flare or if the Crystal Pixie Petite and Edge combo kits run out of flatbacks, don’t fret—we carry lots of other colors and shapes individually and even some in factory packs for you working nail techs out there.

Let us know in the comments section, is this a product you’re interested in? Are you an at-home nail DIYer or do you enjoy visiting a nail technician? Are you a nail technician, what do you think about these, have you tried them? We would love to hear your thoughts!

Why is Artbeads not filling orders which have been paid for, not answering their phone or emails? I paid for $200 of product; have not received it; got a message from UPS that a tracking number was not viable and to contact Artbeads. I have done all of the above and heard nothing back from anyone. A ticket number was assigned in an email to which I could not respond. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON???????????????
