Just Announced: Swarovski Innovations for Fall/Winter 2018/19

Swarovski Fall/Winter 2018-19 Innovations

Swarovski announced their latest Innovations for Fall/Winter 2018/19! These Innovations are all about light and shadow, a contrast of sweet nostalgia and a bold future. The new line embraces both elements equally. We have a sneak peek right here of the upcoming colors, effect, and shapes. Take a look to see what’s on-trend for the upcoming season.

New Colors and Effect

Swarovski Crystal Scarlet Color
Scarlet
The sole crystal color of this launch, Scarlet takes center stage with its rich red tone. The new red pairs well with the existing Ruby color for a subtle two-tone palette. The color itself is elegant and exciting, while the fact that it is made without cadmium makes it an environmentally friendly choice.

Swarovski Crystal Velvet Brown Pearl
Crystal Velvet Brown Pearl
The new Crystal Velvet Brown Pearl color matches well with the new Scarlet shade. Intentionally designed with a vintage luxury feel, it works well as a base color for jewelry designs. Pair it with rich gold or jewel tones for a sophisticated look.

Swarovski Crystal Shimmer Effect
Shimmer Effect – Line Extension
A new line extension adds the popular Shimmer Effect to more base colors. This elegant effect is similar to the multi-colored brilliance of the famous Aurora Borealis Effect, but softened to a subtle gleam. The result is a beautiful display across the facets of each crystal. Especially stunning when grouped together, these crystals are perfect for costumes and large motifs. The line now also comes in popular shapes like the Bicone and Xilion Heart Pendant.

New Shapes and Styles

Swarovski Crystal Growing Pendants
Growing Crystal Designed by Iris Van Herpen
Swarovski is proud to introduce the Growing Crystal Rectangle Pendant and the Growing Crystal Rhombus Pendant. These exciting new shapes were designed by renowned fashion designer Iris Van Herpen. She planned the Growing Crystal Pendants so that the crystals seem as if they are still forming within the defined lines of each pendant. The centers feature up to 500 hand-embedded double cones, ensuring that each pendant will be slightly different just like crystals found in nature.

Swarovski Crystal Jewel Cut
Jewel Cut
Looking for new flatback options? Swarovski’s jewel-cut flatbacks feature classic gemstone shapes perfect for making a statement. This launch features new additions to the line, including Hotfix versions of the Emerald Cut Flatback, Marquise Flatback, and Pear Flatback.

Swarovski Crystal Eye Fancy Stone
Eye Fancy Stone
The Eye Fancy Stone and optional setting provide a modern combination of organic and machine. Digitally printed details and sparkling crystal form a natural shape ready to be used in design. The eye has come to symbolize many things in a variety of cultures, including good health and protection.

Swarovski Crystal Rimmed Xirius Rose Flatback
Rimmed XIRIUS Rose Flatback
The traditional and ever-popular Swarovski XIRIUS Rose Flatback gets an edgy update with a metallic rim effect around the edge. Choose from two finishes: Light Chrome or Dorado.

I am looking forward to the “growing crystal” collection. I used to excavate geodes and love the crystalline structure of the inside.

The “eye fancy stone” also looks intriguing.

love love love the growing crysta ones. As for the evil eye ones….not a fan. When I hear Swarovski I think classy. I find those distasteful. Just one jewellery designers opinion.

The Growing Crystal Pendants are my favorite right now as well Julie! I can’t wait to see the projects that people use them for. Evil eyes are trending right now, so that’s why you’re seeing them in this new launch.

Hi Claudia. The eye is a fancy stone, so it doesn’t have a stringing hole. We are planning to get some, along with a setting that you can use along with it.

Wow the new red is gorgeous! And the new brown pearl is wonderful. It is a color shade that I will wear with great delight. I know the evil eye is a trend but it is not for me – I tend to prefer traditional designs.
