Christmas Traditions and Season’s Greetings

We want to wish you a very happy holiday season! We hope that you all take time to spend with family, friends, and loved ones. Whether you gather around a Christmas tree and open up presents, come together for a delicious dinner, or simply stop by a friend’s house to say hello, we hope it’s memorable. Maybe you’ll even have some time for a Christmas jewelry project or two. Whatever your holiday tradition is, make sure to enjoy every minute of it.

We have some traditions of our own here at Artbeads, including our office holiday gift exchange.

Our purple sequin stockings were hung in the office with care in the hopes that St. Nick soon would be there! St. Nick couldn’t make it to our annual gift exchange, so our executives made sure to leave us some goodies (check out those candy canes). We also all brought snacks to share while we opened presents:

While swapping gifts, we shared some of our favorite family Christmas traditions. Our graphic designer Megan plays board games with her family on Christmas. For them, it’s a wonderful way to spend time together and they always have a great idea for an extra present – more board games! Cynthia and Devin, co-owners of Artbeads, shared their experience with the tradition of putting shoes under the Christmas tree to be filled with presents. Cynthia’s family in France does this and it was a fun tradition for them to see for the first time when they spent Christmas there. For many of us, traditions involve food. Artbeads designer Cheri enjoys two days of wonderful Christmas Eve and Christmas dinners with her family. Email marketing specialist Katie shared that her family opts for all kinds of hors d’oeuvresinstead of a big dinner on Christmas. That way there is something for everyone and they can snack away while opening gifts.

Our customer service team also started a new tradition – desk decorating. They put on a Christmas competition for decorating and personalizing their desks and our employees went above and beyond making each space festive.

Customer service representative Kris turned her computer monitors into a cozy Christmas fireplace! The details are amazing, like Santa heading down the chimney, the crackling fireplace monitor, and the phrase “Merry Krismas”. Vashawn, our customer service lead, says that the attention to detail she has shown in creating her decorations mirrors that of the attention to detail shown when attending to her customers and making a memorable Artbeads.com experience.

Erin, another one of our fabulous customer service representatives, kept her desk merry and bright with cute decorations. She put up a cheerful miniature Christmas tree. We love the jolly snowmen sitting under the tree. All of these decorations certainly light up the office with holiday cheer.

Chestnuts and Cinnamon Christmas Charm Bracelet

Making jewelry is a tradition for many of us, too. Holiday jewelry is so festive and makes for an excellent gift. Artbeads employee Katie shared her Chestnuts and Cinnamon Bracelet with us earlier this year. We love the TierraCast charms and all of the Swarovski accents.

Our customers have also made some cute Christmas jewelry. Artbeader BCH made adorable seed bead gingerbread charms with our Miyuki Delicas. Stacey, another Artbeads customer, got creative and used Artbeads Designer Wire to wrap red and green beads around a cork screw and bottle stopper. We love the beaded wreath Artbeader Carissa made, complete with red and gold accents. A TierraCast snowman charm was the perfect focal for Janice P.’s festive bracelet. Artbeader LS4avon used SuperDuo beads to create beautiful poinsettia shapes. Finally, Artbeader emregan tried out the flat spiral stitch for her Christmas bracelet.

Everyone at Artbeads.com would like to thank you for being awesome customers and creating a wonderful beading community we can all turn to for inspiration and education not only during the holiday season, but all year long. We love interacting with you every step of the way, whether you’ve called or emailed our customer service team, left a review on our website, or reached out on Facebook.

In the picture at the top, you have a round glass ornament in a seed bead netting with Swarovski bicones accents. How about sharing that pattern, please!?

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of you! You know those little Artbeads packets serve to keep my arthritic hands limber, my brain active, and my friends and family very happy with the gifts I make for them. A creative heart is a happier heart. Best to all of you for 2018! Liz Browning Fox

Merry Christmas to all at Art beads !! How I enjoyed reading about your party and how you celebrate Christmas. My Grandmother was German and each year
there was a bowl of candy, fruit, and nuts for each of their 9 children under the tree. My mother tells the story of how ( in a 3 room downstairs and 2 rooms upstairs of their small home) my Grandfather closed off the living room and build a small town with a train going around the tree. He was a
carpenter, this was back in the early 1940.
Our family comes together now on Christmas Eve, we start with the Christmas story of Jesus Birth, then a thankful prayer and a Eggnog toast.
My Great grandchild sat from age 6 to 2yrs and listen and touch: Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus figures, while Grandpa read them ” Jesus and the Lamb
in the Manger” . Celebrations changes over the years, but sharing the Lord
with the family as it grows & changes is our heart desire.
Service team, I love the Desk, just once while working 22 years in the office we only had a small tree. What a wonderful idea.
Art beads you are the best … no hands down, sounds like you are Bless
just to be working their, Have a wonderful New Year …. may it be healthy, and enjoyable as you work with us beaders and a good business year. Thank you for your service and products, and of yes, lessons!
