Great video. I love multi-strand bracelets. I like the mixed media multi-strand necklace. It’s like layering necklaces without getting the clasps all tangled up.
    You carry the prettiest clasps.

I’m new to multi strands techniques, and am very much a beginner in many techniques. I love trying new methods and your Instructions and Supply lists have allowed me to learn several techniques. I love your site and consider your classes like my own personal class! People have even asked me to make several pieces for them! I think this is the highest complement to what I have learned from Artbeads! Love, Love, Love Artbeads!

Beautiful necklaces! I love both of them. Thanks for the tips. I will have to make both of them, I have a black onyx three strand clasps, and was trying to decide what to make with it. I have had it for a while. Great job ladies, as always.

I love the look for fire polished beads and use them a lot. You just reminded me of a 2-strand pearl and amazonite necklace I “almost finished” a few years ago, and will dig it out and change it according to your videos. I just could not get it to sit perfectly way back in the beginning, lol. Thanks ladies!!

Use Czech glass beads in necklaces and bracelets mixed with gemstones. Like to use the small Czech beads as spacers. Also, like to make simple drop earrings with the glass beads.

I’m interested in learning more about Toho beads. I’ve noticed on a few patterns I’ve purchased that Toho beads are preferred. What is the preference based on? To what size and brand would Toho beads most closely relate?

    1. Reply

Hi, Mary! TOHO offers wonderful Japanese seed beads for all kinds of projects. They are very consistent in size, shape, and color, especially the TOHO Aiko precision cylinder seed beads. TOHO Treasure beads are similar to Miyuki Delicas – they both have a cylinder shape that are fun to stitch with. You can take a look at all of the different TOHO shapes we offer here: https://www.artbeads.com/toho-beads-shop-by-bead-type/ This blog post also has more info about TOHO Aiko beads and a comparison of different TOHO shapes: https://blog.artbeads.com/2018/08/introducing-aiko-precision-cylinder-seed-beads-tohos-perfect-bead/ I hope this is helpful!

Thank you for yet another great Artbeads Cafe. Great tips to help us all out. I think ya’ll covered it pretty well & I don’t have too much to add except to say that w/some of my multistrands, I like to make them interchangeable. For example, I might use a main or single strand that attaches in the back but on the front end of the single strand place an adequately sized hoop/ring where I can add different strands/chains etc. I make a selection of strands w/clasps on both ends that can attach to the loop on both sides of the single strand thus making it interchangeable. Goodness…I hope that made sense. Thank you for the opportunity w/the giveaway 🙂 .
