Swarovski Psychology of Colors – Tangerine

Swarovski is exploring the power of color through their Psychology of Colors program – how colors affect our thoughts, emotions, and more. For 11 months, we will be exploring a Swarovski color each month, diving into how these special colors can enhance our style and our mood. For June, Swarovski’s color is Tangerine. This juicy shade is wonderfully energizing. It’s a vivacious color that brings clarity and creativity, as well as promotes physical strength and endurance. It also implies a desire for a fresh and playful element in your life. It’s a perfect color for summer thanks to its warmth and cheerfulness. This vibrant crystal color is always fun to add to jewelry designs!�

Swarovski’s Satsuma Surprise bracelet is a wonderful ode to tangerine. It’s filled with zesty bicones and is accented with TierraCast beads full of texture. Dangles in Tangerine and Peach DeLite add to the juicy beauty of this design. Tangerine is a wonderful color to use on its own like in this bracelet, or with other orange hues.�

We think Tangerine would be a lovely addition to the orange color palette on display in our Vermillion Cliffs necklace. It’s the perfect match for the Crystal Copper beads and the Dakota Stones orange impression jasper pendant set. The Tangerine crystals pick up so well on the tones in the gemstones and we love the splash of coral colors the TOHO seed beads and Swarovski pearls provide.�

Tangerine makes a wonderful contrast to other colors, too. You might think that this bright hue has to be the star of your jewelry designs, but it can make a wonderful accent color. Our Sarah’s Lock wrap necklace/bracelet can be made with Tangerine beads, as they add some warmth alongside the sleek ivory and silver colors.  This is a great look for summer and fall. Our Skull Potion necklace features small Tangerine bicone beads as spacers between larger Iridescent Green pearls and bicones. The small pops of orange colors bring the whole look to life.�
