Today kicks off National Get Organized Week, also known as GO Week! If you’re anything like us, sometimes your bead stash can get out of hand and you just need to get organized. This is the perfect week to think about how to best store your beading supplies, so we’re offering some of our favorite organization options. Plus, you could even win some awesome organization supplies of your own. Keep reading to find out how!
Bead Storage
Did you know we have a whole section on our website for storage and organization items? We do right here and it’s full of wonderful supplies to keep your craft studio (whether you have a whole room or a dining room table) neat and tidy. We have everything from simple zip bags to amazingly functional trays and tool cases.
One of our favorite ways to stay organized is with the Bead Storage Solutions System trays and containers. The containers and trays all feature clear plastic, so it’s easy to see what you have. These items are very high-quality, too. The containers feature lids that snap shut and stay shut, so you don’t have to worry about all of your organization flying out the window because of bead spills. The assorted bead storage tray is great to start with, because it comes with trays in various sizes and even labels so you can keep track of prices and item codes. With other tray and container configurations available, this system is completely customizable to what you need. See all of the options here.
If you’re a seed beader, we recommend cases like this one. Much like the Bead Storage Solutions system, it’s easy to see all of your seed bead colors when you use these containers and they are a compact option when it comes to storage. The containers are also easy to work from, if you’re someone who’s hesitant to dump their seed beads out onto the work surface.
Tool Storage
Now that you have your beads organized, it’s time to figure out how to organize your tools. We love these tool pouches for holding our essential tools neatly in place. They zip closed when you’re not using them, for easy storage. This tool pouch is available without tools, or you can buy a set that comes with all the tools if you’re just starting out with jewelry-making or want to invest in a new set.
Beading on the Go
How do you keep your beads organized when you travel? We love the Bead Buddy Junior bead board and travel case. It can hold a couple of tools and beads for the project you’re working on. The case snaps closed and keeps everything in place, so you can take it anywhere! Both sides of the case feature an attached bead mat, which makes the perfect work surface.
A Giveaway to Get Organized!

I have a large cabinet that holds a lot of my beads that I keep in plastic bags. I keep most of them organized by project and I keep my seed beads in their original containers. I also have a storage cart on wheels.
Love this!
I use lots of tiny zip bags.
I use lots of tins!
I spend almost as much time organizing as I do beading but when I start a project, I drag everything out and have to reorganize afterwards! Mercy me! Lol!
I love Artbeads. It is my go to place to buy beading supplies and get great ideas for projects.
I organize my beads etc in plastic bags or plastic stacking containers in a rolling drawer tower and also in every spot I can squeeze them into but there are always beads everywhere lol! Love the videos and always drooling over so many things I want to try 🙂 .
I use dollar store bins sitting on a shelf system. Challenged for room so this works for now.
I use small zip bags and cigar boxes.
I love the flip-top containers. I need more organization!
What is supposed to be my linen closet is dedicated to my beading supplies. The beads are in divided plastic boxes which are divided by type – Swarovski, Czech, lampwork, pearl, shell and pendants\drops. The Swarovski (which is my largest collection) is also divided by color. I live in a small, one bedroom apartment but my beads take priority over many things! Crazy for beading! (I realize that this is my 2nd comment 😁)
This would be so nice!
I have one of your bead carrying cases, I also use plastic zip bags, and boxes. I would another carrying case.
If I don’t do all the entries, as in having all the social medias, do I still have the oportunnity to win the giveaway? Or all the steps are necesarry?
I never have enough storage boxes!
Love Storage ideas!
Just what I needed, struggling to organize my stash, it’s now in multiple bags and boxes. I take it a little at a time. Thanks for the opportunity.

Love the Bead Storage Solutions System !
I leave my beads in their original containers and put them in stackable drawers.
I like decorative containers for organizing but also see thru ones to find things at a glance.
I love the Darice bead storage trays and containers. It makes it easier to see the beads so I can find what I’m looking for.`
