I usually make stacked dangle earrings. Starting with a larger bead on the bottom graduating to smaller on top. I also enjoy wire wrapping earrings as well. But I’m not very good at why are rapping so I don’t do that technique very often because I usually go through way too much wire because I’m a picky perfectionist!🙃

And apparently my smartphone likes to make up words for me as I talk/type! Gah! Sorry for not checking that before I posted. That should have read “I’m not very good at wire wrapping.” 🤣

Hi. I left a comment yesterday when I first watched the video. Loved watching ya’ll work together & bounce ideas off of each other. Beautiful earrings from you both. I typically make earrings using ear wires & often in a boho style or class swarovski. I am trying to include posts more of late. My favorite “go to” items to work w/are Dakota stones, TierraCast, Nunn, Swarovski, Czech glass & leather. I use base metals as well as Sterling & Gold Filled. I live in FL so I am experimenting w/Stainless as it holds up well in this climate. Thank you for the class as well as the opportunity to win some lovely gifts. 🙂

I am glad to see some clip earring components, my daughter uses clip earrings. I often make smaller silver-toned earrings. However, lately I have been putting together earrings with some Czech Glass superduo beads. One pair turned out looking like a sand-dollar, which was kind of fun! I have also recently incorporated bugle beads into earrings, which I believe was a first for me. Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!💕

There are SO many types of earrings I love making!! I love to make hoops and teardrops out of bracelet sized memory wire, then either string beads on them, or wire wrap beads to the outside of the hoops. I also love to incorporate chain in my designs. I keep a scrap box where I keep bits of wire and other small pieces of different supplies to use whenever I need them.
