Positive Changes Ahead! Enjoy our New Website!

Big news! We’ve just upgraded our website to make it work better for you. Since we’ve updated some things, we wanted to make sure you know how to navigate everything that’s new so you can shop for your favorite beads and supplies, just as you normally do. Don’t worry! The things you’ve come to know and love about Artbeads.com are still here. Here are some of the big changes we want you to know about right away:

My Account

Reset Your Password

If you have an Artbeads My Account, your information has been transferred to the new site! You will just need to reset your password the first time you log in if you haven’t signed into your account since March 19th, 2020. The first time you log in, you will be prompted to reset your password. Follow the on-screen instructions in order to do so.

Points are Easier to Earn

We’ve made it easier to understand our Rewards program and easier to get rewarded. Don’t worry! Your existing rewards have been transferred to the new program at the same dollar value that they were in the previous program. There is no action required on your part to enjoy these new rewards. Not familiar with Rewards? If you have an account with us, you may already be registered for rewards. You can learn more about Rewards here. Here are the four big changes we’ve made and how to check your own rewards:

Shopping: Earn points for every dollar you spend based on your status level.

Points Are Easier to Use

Your new points can be used to purchase ALL of our products instead of only products in our Rewards Center and you’ll be able to redeem your points easily right at checkout.

No More Expired Cash Back!

Cash Back has been replaced with points that are good for a full year instead of the current 90-day limit. The number of points you earn for each dollar spent increases based on your Rewards Status.

All of your unused Cash Back has automatically converted into new points at an equivalent cash value. For example, if you had $5 in Cash Back, you will receive 500 Points.

How to See Your Rewards

You can now see your Rewards with the small purple button on the bottom left of your screen that says “Rewards”. This button will be available on every page of the website, so you can easily check your Rewards Points while you shop!

Artbeads Rewards

Earn Rewards on Your Birthday!

You will also need to enter your birthday information again in order to get birthday rewards, even if you entered that information before we upgraded our site. To add your birthday info, click the “Rewards” button in the bottom left corner of any screen. Then click “Ways to earn”. You will see “Celebrate a birthday” at the bottom of the list, with the option to Edit Date. Enter your birthday information in the boxes shown and then click “Save date”. It’s that easy!

Order History

You will still be able to see all of your previous orders! We know this is helpful for reordering your favorites. Just click My Account at the top right of any page and choose Orders.

Wish Lists

Saved Carts and Favorites Lists have now moved to Wish lists. If you had existing Saved Carts or Favorites Lists on our previous website, you can now find them under Wish Lists. Wish Lists work much like Favorites Lists. You can press the heart button to add items to your Wish List. The heart is to the right of the image when you’re on a product page. Click the heart and choose “Add to My Wish List” or “Create New Wish List”. You can name your Wish Lists with any name you like. To view your Wish Lists, click My Account at the top right of any page and choose Wish Lists.

Any existing Wish Lists you have will automatically be set to private, but make sure to review your privacy settings so you can share them with family and friends! To do this, click My Account and then Wish Lists. Click the Edit button next to any list you want to share and check the “Share Wish List?” box. Then press “Save Wish List”. There should now be a purple “Share” button next to the Wish List you chose. Click the button and you’ll see the list with a link you can copy and share with friends. 

Other My Account Features

There are other great My Account features that we hope you’ll love, like the ability to browse Recently Viewed items and purchasing and checking gift certificates. You can even customize the themes of the gift certificates you send, whether it’s for a birthday, celebration, Christmas, or another special occasion. To purchase gift certificates, click My Account at the top right of any page and choose “Gift Certificates”. Fill out your information and then choose the Gift Certificate Theme to customize the design of the gift certificate. Hit Preview to see what it looks like before adding your gift certificate to the cart!

Shopping Our Site

We’ve made some changes to how you can shop our site. You might notice that there are no “Add to Cart” buttons on listing pages. Don’t worry! If you hover over the image, you’ll see that button we know you want to press! You can even adjust the quantity before hitting Add to Cart.

Site search received some fun updates, including the ability to shop by customer rating and your preferred price range.

You might notice that search pages look a little different from listing pages. Again, you can hover over an item to Add to Cart or press the Quick View button to see more information without leaving the search page.

If you don’t find an item you’ve ordered from us in the past, don’t assume it won’t be back. With the current challenges in transportation and supply of inventory traveling all around the world, we will be removing the out of stock items from search results and category pages for the time being.

If you’re on an item page, the description to the right of the image tells you important information about the product. Looking for more specific measurements and other important details? Click the Details tab to the right of the word “Description”.

More Payment Methods

We’ve made it easier to shop with more payment methods available, including Google Pay and Apple Pay. You’ll still be able to purchase with all of our previously available methods, too. Isn’t it great when it’s easier to get what you want?

There are other great changes we know you’ll love, like the Just One Dollar section – a new section to find everything that’s a dollar and under. Your bargain-hunting dreams just came true!     How can we shop by color. I like to shop by color for my seed beads but I don’t see these buttons anymore. There is nothing beneath the refine button. Thank you for your help!

      Hi Siska. Thanks so much for your feedback, it really is helpful. We are working on adding more filters to category pages, but shopping by search allows you to shop by color. For instance, type “seed beads” into the search box at the top of the page and hit enter or click the search button. You’ll see the search results and different filter options to the left, including color filters. I hope this is helpful!

    I also order seed beads and Swarovski crystals and need to find these items fast by size and colors. Maybe a tutorial would help.

    Updates are looking good. Guessing you’re still working on it cause clicking the filter button brings up a blank screen. Another cool upgrade would be the ability to sort your cart. Big improvement that they stay in the order you add them though. Great changes overall!

    The changes are nice, but I have a suggestion for you in the Jewelry and tutorials section. Please add an option to view by date added. I like to go see the newest designs that have been added. I don’t always remember the name of the pieces so trying to go by alphabetical order is very time consuming.

    Hi, I love the new look of the website, the pictures are really clear. I would echo previous comments, I loved the ability to filter by color and size but that doesn’t appear and I did check the rewards section and it has my current points, but it doesn’t tell me my category. I know from my business records that I would/should be at probeader as you all are my first got to place for my beading needs. Thanks,

    I like the ability to shop using the price ranges. As much as I have searched I cannot find this feature. It is annoying to me to look at products and see something for $144.0 0 and the next one is $1.76. I like to shop “low to high” in most cases and this is not helpful. Any suggestions??

    I have already posted re this particular issue but I find, after shopping for about an hour, that I have just finally given up as it is extremely frustrating for me to have to look at all these beads, etc., that are way too expensive for me and I would not have that issue if I could figure out how to do the “price range” option.

      Hi Katheleen, we’re so sorry you are frustrated with the new website. If you would like to sort by price range, we recommend shopping through our search pages. For example, type “Swarovski beads” into the search box at the top of any page and you’ll see the results for that search. From here, you can use the Sort By function at the top right of the search results to sort by Price: from low to high, or use the filters on the left for more specific price ranges. I hope this helps and we do appreciate your feedback.

        I’m not having success using the search button.
        I tried the above directions and I get a 0 results message and 2 products: Designer wire and a Looper plier.
        I tried similar directions from a reply from March 23. Same result.
        I don’t see any buttons that would allow me to sort by function, price, etc.
        Is there some setting on my computer I have to change?
        Right now I just go through the Shop Jewelry Supplies category to seed beads a scroll through each category. Too time-consuming.
        I posted a question about navigating the new site a while back and never got a reply.

    At this point I can’t find the 2 shopping carts that I had before you changed everything. I’ve spent way too much time trying to figure this out. Not user friendly. I keep seeing the word “fun”. Nope. How about a heads up before you do further major changes

    I have been on the new site and it doesn’t seem a lot different, which is good because I am old! 😉 One thing I looked for and didn’t find was the option to Save Cart. Is this feature no longer available? If it is, where can I find it?

    I find it extremely frustrating while shopping to want details on an item which it sends me to, the problem is when you hit the back button it should bring you back to the item you just got details on, not back to the beginning of the catagory you were shopping. This is a huge time waste for me. Please make this user friendly. Thanks!!

    I am totally lost. I enter specifics about an item I’m searching for and instead of that item, I get a message that there are 14,000 results! I just don’t get it! How can there be 14,000 items with the same description “Czech glass luster mix round 6mm”?
    I usually think of a search as a sort of “outline”. Start with the broad category and get more specific with the details. That doesn’t seem to work at all! Like I just don’t understand how you have your inventory organized.
    How should I phrase my search request?
    I tried to go by the SKU number and that didn’t go any better.
    And what’s with the page of written directions? How is that supposed to help me?
    Artbeads has been my “go-to ” website since I started tinkering around with jewelry making. I’m so frustrated.

    I want to order items I’ve ordered before. Where do I list their product numbers or name of the product? I don’t want to have to go through multiple pages to search for an item I need. I want to get in, order what I need, and get out
    Maybe a video tutorial would help those who don’t have time to blindly figure out where things are
    Thanks for your help. I’m REALLY frustrated here

    I have been a customer of Artbeads for about 10 years and look forward to browsing the new website. However, due to some physical limitations, I have not ordered much recently, but I still thought my previous orders and wish list would have transferred over but it appears they have not. I click on the appropriate link but am told I have not placed any orders and that I have no wish lists. Is my past data gone or is there still a chance it will be transferred?? Thank you.

    Please enable a way to sort the tutorial projects for just earring or just bracelets, etc. I tried to find one I had seen before, but gave up. I wasn’t willing to look page by page all the way to z.

    What happens with our old gift certificates? I tried to use one on my last order and received a message that it was not a valid number. I have 2 $10 gift certificate emails. I used rewards on 2/24 to purchase these. Thanks,
